Martin Braithwaite to Barcelona?

Barcelona are looking to complete the signing of Martin Braithwaite from Leganes.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the former Middlesbrough forward’s agent has arrived in Catalunya for talks to close out the deal.

The Nou Camp giants are hoping to get Braithwaite on board before Saturday’s La Liga clash with Eibar.

Liverpool’s Timo Werner worry

Liverpool are concerned over how Timo Werner will adjust to battling for a place in Jurgen Klopp’s team, according to the Independent.

The Germany international enjoys a regular spot in Julian Nagelsmann’s team at RB Leipzig but would have to compete with Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah if he moves to Anfield in the summer.

Werner is on Liverpool’s transfer radar ahead of the transfer window reopening.

Express Sport understands Klopp has a long-standing interest in forward.

Man Utd eye Harry Winks

Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has emerged as one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top transfer targets.

A midfield rebuild is likely at Manchester United if Paul Pogba is sold, as expected, at the end of the current campaign.

According to the Daily Mirror, Ed Woodward will use some of the Pogba money to launch a bid for Spurs’ £40m-rated man.

Winks fits the profile of player Solskjaer is looking to add to his squad.

Arsenal handed Dayot Upamecano boost

Arsenal target Dayot Upamecano has suggested he is open to leaving RB Leipzig at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old defender is already being tracked by Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.

Speaking on RMC Sport television programme Breaking Foot, he said: “As I said, first I focus on Leipzig. And afterwards, I know that I am being wooed, that there are clubs that want me.

“I will talk well with my agents and my parents at the end of the season. And we will make the right decision.”
