Ivanka Trump news: Donald Trump’s daughter could run for President for this reason

Ivanka Trump is the daughter of the President Donald Trump and the former model and businesswoman, Ivana Trump, 70. She has acted as a senior political advisor for the president since he was inaugurated in January 2017. As the 2020 presidential elections approach, there have been many rumoured candidates and some believe Ivanka Trump could have her eyes on the position. Where was the former businesswoman born? Would she qualify for the role?

Ivanka Trump works full time as one of the senior political advisors of Donald Trump.

In this role, she attends official events in her father’s place and often campaign for White House initiatives.

Some people have speculated she could be gearing up to run for President herself and the journalist, Michael Wolff, claimed in his book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, she will run in the future.

The book stated: “The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be Ivanka Trump.”

So, would she qualify?

In order to run for President in the United States, a candidate must be at least 35-years-old and have lived in the United States for 14 years.

Candidates also need to be natural-born citizens of the US in order to qualify.

Ivanka Trump is the daughter of Donald’s first wife, Ivana Trump, who was born in Czechoslovakia.

As well as being half Czech, Ivanka also has German, Austrian and Scottish ancestry.

However, Ivana has long been a US citizen and Ivanka was born in New York, which means she could be a candidate.

What’s more, this would be the first time Ivanka would be able to run for the role as she would have been too young during the last campaign.
