Frank Warren confirms Tyson Fury’s next fight, date and venue as star warms up for Wilder | Boxing | Sport

Fury has apparently signed a contract to rematch Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title early next year.

And the Gypsy King will warm-up with a bout against unknown quantity Wallin in four week’s time.

Promoter Warren confirmed the news on his Twitter account this afternoon.

“CONFIRMED,” Warren wrote.

“Lineal Heavyweight Champion @Tyson_Fury will defend his crown against 20-0 @OttoWallin at the @TMobileArena on September 14th.”

Fury has fought once since the controversial draw against Wilder.

Tom Schwartz was the victim as Fury put on a show with a second round TKO.

Wallin has a 20-0 record but has never fought anybody of note.

The 28-year-old Swede is not expected to put up much of a challenge when he steps into the ring with Fury.
